Teams

A team groups drivers under one name and tag. Teams have a team ELO, a place on the team leaderboard, and a table in each series' standings. You race for one team at a time.

The teams page

Open Teams under People.

• Your team (when you are in one) shows your team's tag, name, Team ELO and number of drivers. Select Open team to see the roster.
• Team leaderboard lists every team by team ELO, with its captain, its best driver and its number of drivers. Select a team to open it.

Team ELO

Team ELO is the average ACC ELO of all members. Members who have not raced yet count at the starting ELO of 1500. Teams without members rank last. See Ratings.

Founding a team

You can found a team if you are signed in and not in a team yet.

1. On Teams, select Found a team.
2. Fill in Name (2 to 60 characters), Tag (2 to 5 characters) and an optional Description.
3. Select Found team.

You become the team's Captain and the team page opens.

Joining a team

1. Open the team's page.
2. Select Join team.

Joining is open: any signed-in driver can join any team, with no approval step. If you are already in a team, you see "You are already in a team. Leave it first."

Leaving a team

1. Open your team's page.
2. Select Leave and confirm.

The captain has no Leave button.

The team page

The page shows Team ELO, Drivers, and the Roster: each member's Role (Captain or Driver), licence, SR and ELO, strongest first.

Teams in standings

Each series has a Teams tab in its standings. A team's score for a week is the average of its best three drivers' results that week, and every week counts. Points go to the team a driver is in when the table is shown, so a driver who changes team takes their points along. See Standings.
