A race page

The race page has everything about one race: who is entered, the splits, how to join the server, and the results. It updates on its own while the race moves from signups to results.

Signing up

1. Check Requirements on the right. It shows the minimum licence, Safety Rating and ELO, and whether the race counts for ELO and Safety Rating.
2. Under Your entry, choose your car in Car. Only cars of the series' class are listed.
3. If the series asks for it, fill in Signup password or Invite code. The organiser gives these out.
4. Select Sign up.

To follow a race without taking a seat, select Just interested. The race is bookmarked in your races, but you are not on the entry list and you don't get a split.

Who else is entered

Until the race locks, Entry list shows every driver signed up, strongest ELO first, with their car, licence, Safety Rating and ELO. After the lock it is replaced by Splits. To see the championship this race belongs to, select the … season button at the top.

Changing your car or withdrawing

Select Withdraw and confirm. To change car, withdraw and sign up again with the other car. You can re-enter as long as signups are open.

When things happen

Moment	What happens
Signups open	Set by the organiser for each series; 7 days before the start unless they change it.
60 seconds before the start	Signups and withdrawals close. The race locks, the field is split and servers are assigned.
At lock, too few drivers	The race is cancelled if fewer drivers signed up than the series minimum.
Start time	The server starts with the first session, usually practice. See Format for session lengths.
After the race	Results appear when every split has reported, usually a few minutes after the flag. If no split produces a result, the race is cancelled.

The start time is shown in your browser's time zone. Under Your entry, "Withdrawals close in …" tells you how long you have.

Why can't I sign up?

When you can't enter, Your entry shows the reason instead of the form:

Sign in through Steam to race. Your SteamID is your entry on the server.	Your account has no SteamID. See Signing in.
Your account is currently banned from racing.	See Stewarding.
Signups are not open for this race.	Signups have not opened yet, or the race has locked.
Your licence is below the minimum for this series.	See Ratings.
Your Safety Rating is below the minimum / above the maximum for this series.	The series is for a Safety Rating range.
Your ELO is below the minimum for this series.	Look for a series without an ELO minimum.

A wrong password or invite code shows as an error after you select Sign up.

Splits

When the race locks, bdr ranks everyone signed up by their current ELO (ties go to the higher Safety Rating, then the earlier signup) and cuts the field into splits:

• It uses as few splits as the series' Split size allows, and keeps them about the same size. Split 1 is the fastest.
• Some series also move drivers with a low Safety Rating down: one split lower, into the bottom split, or by ranking on ELO multiplied by Safety Rating. The organiser chooses this.
• Your car number is your ELO rank inside your split.
• SOF (strength of field) is the average ELO of the split at lock.

A series also has a maximum number of splits. If more drivers sign up than fit, the lowest-rated drivers don't get a seat, no matter when they signed up. You then see "The field was full. You did not get a seat in this race."

Joining the server

Once the race locks, Your entry shows "You are in split N, car #N", the Server name and the Password.

1. If there is a Join server button, select it to connect directly. This needs the community ACC Connector tool installed.
2. Otherwise, open the ACC multiplayer server list, find the server by the name shown, and enter the password.

The server only lets in the drivers seated in that split, identified by SteamID. Your car and number are fixed to what you signed up with, and your name on the server is your bdr display name. Keep the password to yourself.

Results

Each session of each split gets its own table, such as Race · split 1.

Column	Meaning
Pos	Position, or DNS / DSQ.
Time	Total time. A red +Ns is a steward time penalty.
Inc	Incident points.
ELO, SR	How this race changed your ratings.
Pts	Championship points. See Standings.

Select a row to see every lap with its sectors, invalid laps struck through, and any penalties. Ranked · SOF means the race counted for ratings. Unranked gives the reason, for example Untrusted host or Too few drivers. Under review means stewards are checking the session. See Ratings.

Reporting an incident

On a race session, select Report to file a report against another driver. You can only report sessions you took part in, and only within the reporting window. See Reports.

The session widget

When you are signed up, a panel sits in the bottom-right corner of every page.

• Collapsed, it counts down to your next race. When your split is live it shows LIVE, a Join now button, your car number and the password.
• Select it to expand the list: live races first, then upcoming, then races that just finished. Once a race has locked, its line shows your car number and the password, plus Join now when the server can be joined directly.
• A finished race stays until its results are published, for up to three hours.
