Reports
Reporting an incident after a race, what happens next, and what each penalty costs.
If another driver wronged you in a race, you can file a report with video evidence. The accused can accept a penalty themselves, otherwise the stewards decide. This page covers filing a report, answering one against you, and what a penalty changes.
Filing a report
- Open the race page and find the results of the race session.
- Select Report.
- Fill in the form:
- Driver: who you are reporting. Drivers who did not start are not listed.
- What happened?: the reason. The Tariff card shows what it costs.
- Lap: the lap it happened on (optional).
- Video link: a link starting with
http://orhttps://, for example a YouTube clip. Required. - Describe the incident: 10 to 2000 characters.
- Select File report.
The report page opens. You find all your reports later under Reports on your account page. Only you, the other driver and the stewards can open a report. See Account.
When you can report

For a race on the calendar, the session start is the race's scheduled start.
What happens next
The report's status shows at the top of its page.

Most reasons start with Awaiting the accused. If the accused does not answer within 48 hours, the report goes to the stewards automatically. Reasons that do not allow self-acceptance go straight to With the stewards; the Tariff card says so when you pick one.
When the report is decided, a Decision card shows the outcome, the time penalty, the Safety Rating penalty, any ban, and the steward's reasoning.
If you are reported
Open the report from your account page. While it is Awaiting the accused, you see Your call:
- Accept the penalty: the Safety Rating penalty shrinks by 25%. The time penalty and the other driver's incident refund still apply.
- Or write your side under Or tell the stewards your side and select Contest. Your statement is shown on the report.
The card shows your deadline. If you do nothing, the report goes to the stewards without a statement from you, and the 25% reduction is gone.
Note
You are not notified in the app when someone reports you. Check the Reports list on your account page after your races.

These are the default values. The Tariff card on the report form always shows the current ones. When upholding a report, a steward can set a different time penalty, SR penalty or ban.
What a penalty changes
- Time: added to the accused's race time. The race is re-classified, which can change positions, season points and ELO across the field.
- SR: subtracted from the accused's Safety Rating at that race, never below 1.00.
- Refund: incident points taken off the reporter's count for that race, which can improve the reporter's Safety Rating change. See Ratings.
- Ban: the accused cannot sign up for races until the ban ends.
SR penalties and refunds only take effect in races that count for Safety Rating. Ratings and standings are recalculated shortly after a penalty is applied.
Warning
Report real incidents only. Rejected reports count towards the lockout.
