Best times

The fastest recorded laps per game, track and car class, and where your own lap ranks.

Best times collects the fastest laps driven in sessions on bdr. Use it to see the pace at a track before a race, or to check where your own best lap stands.

Finding a leaderboard

Select Best times in the top bar.
If several games have lap times, pick the game with the buttons at the top.
The list on the left shows every track and car class combination that has a recorded lap, with its record time, sorted by that time.
Select a combination to open its leaderboard on the right.

Reading a leaderboard

The large time at the top is the record for that track and car class, with the driver and the date it was set. The record counts laps from every session, practice included.
Below it are the 20 fastest laps from race and qualifying sessions, quickest first, with the car each was driven in. The badge next to the title shows how many are listed.
Your own laps are highlighted and shown as You.
Each row is one driver's best lap from one session, so a fast driver can appear more than once.

Cars are grouped by car class, so a leaderboard compares cars that race against each other.

Where the times come from

Times come from the result files that race servers upload after each session. A lap only appears once its session's result has been received. Laps from servers that do not upload to bdr never appear.

Best times are not a rating. They do not change your ELO, Safety Rating or standings. See Ratings.

Why is my lap missing?

Only the 20 fastest laps per track and car class are listed. If yours is slower, it is not shown.
The leaderboard only lists laps from race and qualifying sessions. A fast practice lap does not appear there.
The lap could not be matched to your account, so it is listed as Unknown driver. This happens when you drove under a different Steam account than the one you signed in with. See Signing in.
